Welcome to Sipp, operated by Hello Sipp LLC ("we", "us", "our"). By using the service, you agree to these terms. Please read them carefully.
Acceptance of terms
By creating an account or using Sipp in any way, you confirm that you are at least 21 years of age and the legal drinking age in your jurisdiction, and that you accept these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use Sipp.
Use of the service
- Sipp is provided to help you discover, evaluate, and remember wines. You may use it for personal, non-commercial purposes.
- You agree not to abuse the service: no scraping, reverse-engineering, automated bulk scanning, or attempts to bypass rate limits or subscription restrictions.
- You are responsible for any activity under your account, including keeping your password secure.
- You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account.
Free vs Premium tiers
Sipp offers a Free tier with a limited number of lifetime label scans and a Premium tier with unlimited scans and full feature access. Premium is billed monthly through Stripe on a recurring basis until cancelled. You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period and we do not refund partial months.
User content
Photos you take, ratings you give, taste tags you select, and notes you save are your content. You grant Hello Sipp LLC a limited license to store and process this content solely to operate, improve, and personalize the service. We never publish or share your content publicly without your permission.
Intellectual property
All software, design, branding, and content produced by Hello Sipp LLC is our property and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute any part of Sipp without our written permission.
Disclaimer
Wine recommendations are suggestions only. Sipp's pairings, rankings, and value verdicts are generated by AI from public information and your own input. They are provided as-is, with no warranty of accuracy, completeness, or fitness for a particular purpose. Always drink responsibly and in accordance with the laws of your jurisdiction.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Hello Sipp LLC is not liable for any damages arising from your use of the service or reliance on its recommendations.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms at our discretion and without prior notice. You can delete your account at any time from your account page. Upon termination, your right to use Sipp ceases immediately.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by posting a notice in the app or sending an email to your registered address. Continued use of Sipp after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Illinois, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute arising under these terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Cook County, Illinois.
